ABOUT KEIR

I am multi-award winning educator with a focus on participatory design and inclusion in innovation and entrepreneurship. I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Design Innovation at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Bristol.

I have 20 years of experience working as an educator and creative producer in academic, commercial and arts contexts.  My work is focused on developing equitable spaces for learning and play through collaboration and the use of creative technologies. I use participatory and social inclusive approaches to achieve this in my teaching, research and creative practice. 

My academic and creative work has been exhibited and published across international academic, civic and commercial venues including the University of Bristol, University of the Arts, Queen Mary University, London, New School, NY, MOMA NY, The British Council, We the Curious, Hong Kong Design Institute, TATE, Red Bull F1, Pixel Artworks, Arctic Consortium USA, touretteshero.

I am a fellow of the FHEA, founding member of artist collective Live Art Digital, live art duo chris+keir, and Reggae collective,  Jam Jah Sound. I have trained in Capoeira for 15 yrs and taken up springboard/ cliff diving in my late thirties.
